Tampa uses cameras to scan for wanted faces

Facial recognition technology received its first major public debut in Tampa during Super Bowl XXXV when faces were scanned as fans passed through the turnstiles and then compared to a database of suspects' photos. Now the technology moves further into the mainstream as Tampa deploys similar equipment in the local nightlife district in order to catch criminals.
