Research Group Still Awaits Payment for Cracking Security Software
Posted by Paul Szynol on Sunday, December 08 @ 10:55:39 EST News
Wired has published an article (Hackers Want Their Prize Money) about the Last Stage of Delirium, a Polish research group, and Argus Systems Group, an Illinois-based software firm that specializes in developing "security [software] for today's most critical e-business environments", particularly PitBull.

Last year, the company had organized the 5th Argus Hacking Challenge, and offered nearly $50,000 to the first group or individual to "successfully hack into the web server protected by the company’s flagship product - the Pitbull Foundation System".

LSD succeeded, but, as the group's web site says, "the LSD has won and lost at the same time" -- Argus still hasn't paid up.

Check out LSD's coverage here. Wired coverage is here.
