The Broadcast Advertising Clearance Center, a British advertising watchdog, requires that creators of advertisements which mock a living individual seek out that individual's permission first.

Applying this logic, BACC has banned an advertisement for a comedy series--the animated advertisement shows George W. Bush putting a video tape into a toaster.
