Microsoft Resists EU's Demands

Either emboldened by Friday's ruling or simply true to form, Microsoft's refused to comply w/ the European Union's authorities' request that the software company separate Media Player from Windows.

Microsoft's response to the demand, mouthed by Brad Smith, Microsoft's chief legal counsel: "Code removal is not something we are prepared to consider."

Windows removal IS indeed something the user is more than willing to consider.!!!
