miladus writes "The deal granting US agencies access to European Travel data is more
extensive than initially thought. According to Statewatch,
US Customs officials will have direct access to reservation databases
of airlines based in the EU. Two troubling provisions: 1)US Customs can
pass on downloaded Passenger Name Record (PNR) to other US Agencies and
2) PNR data subjects will have 'no right to correct wrong information'.
They can only complain and 'correction' is at the discretion of US
Customs. Text of EU/US discussions on PNR here. "
