RIAA Sues Internet Providers for Failing to Censor
Posted by Raul Ruiz on Friday, August 16 @ 21:11:03 EDT Copyright

The RIAA has filed suit against several major Internet service and network providers alleging that they allow users to access the China-based Listen4ever.com website and therefore allow them to download copyrighted works. The lawsuit is asking that a court order be issued requiring the ISPs to block Internet communications directed at the website.

The RIAA is alleging that Listen4ever uses offshore servers in China to allow Internet users to make unlawful copies of recordings at will. Yahoo! carries the story here.

Maybe they should go after Cisco for not making routers that automatically block such traffic...
