Anti-Spam Statute Applied by VA Court

After four years of litigation, the U.S. District Court of the Eastern District in Virginia has ruled that CN Productions pay AOL $7 million in damages -- for spamming AOL customers.

The VA court had applied a state anti-spam statute which fines spammers $25,000 per day.
