Neither Wind Nor Snow, But Maybe Hurricane Can Stop Spam |

Business Week is reporting that Hurricane Ivan may have slowed down spam by affecting Florida, a well-known spam haven. Sure enough, the Postini map seems to agree. Surely Savvis refusing service to a pile of American spammers changed these figures also. In a way, this Postini map, very different from one even a month ago, is a good thing. It shows, if nothing else, that spammers are no longer getting away with it (as often) in the United States.
