Posted by Ernest Miller on Monday, October 08 @ 20:25:08 EDT Privacy
Jeffrey Rosen, an associate professor of law at George Washington University School of Law and writer on legal affairs for the New Republic, has written an excellent cover story on surveillance cameras in British life for the New York Times Magazine (reg. req.) (Being Watched: A Cautionary Tale for a New Age of Surveillance). Rosen is also the author of The Unwanted Gaze: The Destruction of Privacy in America. Slashdot has a discussion of the article (Ubiquitous Surveillance).
