The New York Times (reg. req.) has an editorial expressing caution with regard to these issues and a short article discussing part of the Internet aspect of the FBI's investigation (Intelligence and Terrorism) and (Scouring the Internet in Search of the Tracks of Terrorists). There is also an article discussing censorship by ISPs of pro-Jihad and anti-Muslim hate sites (I.S.P.'s Curb Terrorist Postings and an Anti-Islamic Backlash). ZDNet News has a short article about censorship of information that terrorists might use (such as how much fuel various airplanes carry) as well as some of the privacy issues (Time to crack down on Internet content?). The Washington Post's coverage includes an article on the desire for increased surveillance (New Powers Sought for Surveillance).

The Washington Post has an interesting article claiming that the terrorists used public computers in libraries (Hijackers May Have Accessed Computers at Public Libraries).
