Re: A History of the Digital Copyright Struggle (Score: 0) by Anonymous (Name Withheld on Advice of Counsel) on Monday, September 09 @ 09:57:16 EDT | Hollywood used to see the VCR as the death of its industry, now it derives much of its revenue from home viewing. Surely the industry needs to embrace the new possibilities of technology... make all the content you could ever want available on demand and at a fair price and there will be much less need for anyone to pirate the material in the first place. |
