Spam-Themed Clothing: Less Annoying than the Real Thing?
Posted by Rebecca Bolin on Tuesday, April 20 @ 20:02:33 EDT Spam
Scott Richter, a notorious American spammer, has decided that his celebrity is desirable and is starting a SpamKing clothing line. How long before the Hormel suit? Spam(TM) has a trademarked brand reputation to protect, but Richter didn't become a spam master by fearing being dragged into court. He is rumored to be approaching an agreement with the New York Attorney General about CAN-SPAM and other spam offenses and has been featured on the Daily Show.

Richter thinks that "hip-hop, grunge and skateboarding crowds" find spam to be cool and will wear(opt-in to) spam-themed products, staring with his initial line of hats, shirts, and panties praising the self-professed SpamKing. Richter is said to be using inspiring and original spam-related slogans which he believes people will actually want to pay for, "Just Opt-Out" and "Click It," to sell the clothing. (Looking to add a Nike cease and desist to the pile?) And probably lots of spam-themed clothing spam.

As far as spam-themed clothing goes, I've always preferred this [www.cashncarrion.co.uk].

Isn't there a law against profiting from criminal acts? Something about proceeds being given to victims?
