Links: Interview with Lessig
Posted by Steven Wu on Thursday, April 10 @ 09:23:17 EDT Copyright
EconLog has posted an interview with Lawrence Lessig. Lessig essentially rehashes a lot of his arguments against the current state of copyright law (along with some comments about the DMCA), but he just sounds a lot more downbeat. For instance:
I've written two very pessimistic books and after each book, someone has said to me, your book's too pessimistic. And in both cases those people have come back to me later on and said they weren't pessimistic enough. There are no good signs right now in the context of the issues we're talking about. Things are actually much worse than I imagined they would be.
