Leonard Kleinrock, on the other hand, invented packet switching, which is about as foundational as it gets. I don't know what his testimony says, but it may not be that bad -- it sounds like he just testified about the technical feasibility of preventing copyright violation, which is a reasonable sort of thing to have a technical opinion about, regardless of the politics around the case. I would be sad, though, if someone like that believed in the RIAA's side of things for the wrong reasons. |
