miladus writes "Wired
is reporting that Lucky Green has
filed two patents describing Microsoft's Palladium infrastructure to assist
in the enforcement of software licensing. The filing is meant as a defensive
strategy against the potential digital right management and software licensing
control usage of the infrastructure. Such a strategy is apparently common
in the biotechnology field.
