Pointdexter's Info Released on the Web
Posted by Paul Szynol on Sunday, December 15 @ 13:00:39 EST Privacy
Adm. John Poindexter heads the Total Information Awareness Program, the notorious Pentagon project which aims to collect an apparently boundless variety of personal information about citizens and residents of the United States.

The SF Weekly has published a tongue-in-cheek article that analyzes the program's pros and cons.

The article, in addition, gives a taste of what it's like to have your information made available to strangers--it includes Pointdexter's personal information (phone number and address, among other data).

The SF Weekly article is here. Wired's coverage is here.
