Posted by Paul Szynol on Friday, October 11 @ 01:21:30 EDT Patent
U.S. District Judge T. John Ward has ruled in favor of Intergraph in a patent infringement suit against Intel. In its suit, which it filed on July 30, 2001, Integraph alleged that Intel infringed two of its parallel instruction computing (PIC) patents.

Here is Integraph's chronology of the legal saga, beginning with the original complaint.

Intel plans to file a motion for reconsideration, and, if need be, subsequently appeal.

To license the technology, Intel will have to pay $100 million.

Full story is here.
