That Was Quick: VeriSign Sued over DNS Hijack
Posted by James Grimmelmann on Friday, September 19 @ 12:19:34 EDT Contracts
Yesterday, looking at VeriSign's decision to redirect all failed .com and .net DNS lookups to its own site, I predicted some interesting lawsuits against VeriSign in "the next few weeks." I should have said the next few days. Reuters is now reporting that "Internet search company" Netster is suing VeriSign in federal court for antitrust violations and unfair trade practices (VeriSign sued over controversial Web service).

If there's anyone out there with a copy of the complaint, please post a link.

If you have a PACER account, you should be able to get to the filing off of the Florida Southern District Court website [www.flsd.uscourts.gov].
