Microsoft Flexes Its Muscles

C|NET is reporting that Microsoft announced it would be hiring famed attorney Dan Webb, of Winston & Strawn, as co-counsel to handle remanded sanctions proceedings (Microsoft bulks up legal team). Webb is most noted for prosecuting Admiral John Poindexter in the Iran-Contra trials and successfully defending General Electric in a 1995 Ohio price-fixing case. He has recently been working for Phillip Morris in their sick-smoker lawsuits.
