Kazaa Hearing Set for Tomorrow
Posted by Paul Szynol on Monday, December 02 @ 00:44:29 EST Copyright
Oral arguments for and against summary judgment in the Kazaa lawsuit will be heard tomorrow in Los Angeles by U.S. District Court Judge Stephen Wilson.

Forbes reports that the lawyers "for the music and movie industries gathered on Sunday ahead of" the hearing, though the article doesn't disclose any details.

The arguments: prosecution compares Kazaa to Napster; defense claims that Kazaa differs from Napster because it cannot monitor user activity.
