Wartime Civil Liberties Report
Posted by Ernest Miller on Wednesday, September 26 @ 01:42:18 EDT Civil Liberties
ZDNet News publishes a commentary where the author is willing to give up much of his privacy to fight terrorists (Privacy: Not so sacred anymore?). The Washington Post posts two news articles (Push for Increased Surveillance Powers Worries Some) and (Proposed Anti-Terrorism Laws Draw Tough Questions) and an editorial (Spies and Cops). The New York Times (reg. req.) looks at the encryption issue (Disputes on Electronic Message Encryption Take On New Urgency) as does CNN (Terrorism attacks renew debate over encryption software). Declan McCullagh continues his excellent coverage for WIRED (Congress Weighs Anti-Terror Bill).
