Base Crypto Projects Overseas?
Posted by Ernest Miller on Monday, September 17 @ 06:59:44 EDT Cryptography
John Gilmore, board member and one of the founders of EFF, calls for those working on cryptography projects to base them overseas - outside US jurisdiction - so that they will remain available in event of an anti-crypto crackdown (Please make stable NON-US homes for strong crypto projects).
UPDATE
Leading cryptographer Bruce Schneier discusses these issues in his latest Crypto-Gram (Crypto-Gram September 15).
Declan McCullagh continues his coverage for WIRED (Geeks Gather to Back Crypto).
