Reuters reports that Internet service provider Connect-2 Internet has been charged with fraud, obstruction of justice, and other charges for their participation in New York's E-Rate Program, which provides funding for schools to get online. "According to the complaint, the company allegedly charged the government high prices for its services but misrepresented to the government that schools were paying their share of the costs, as they are required to do under the program."
