We might as well call this "Google" week on LawMeme. Another article on Google, this time from MSNBC via Newsweek (The World According to Google). The article is by Steven Levy, Senior Editor and chief technology writer for Newsweek, and is an excellent overview of the breadth of Google's power, briefly touching on such Google-related legal issues as privacy, free expression, open access and copyright.
