A Russian law firm intends to sue the animators who created Dobby -- the elf from the second installment of Harry Potter -- on the grounds that the fantastic creature resembles Vladimir Putin.

It's not clear what area of law the animators are accused of violating, but it is interesting to consider the implications of the suit: can a plastic surgeon who alters a client's facial morphology to resemble that of a movie star (à la LA Confidential) be subject to similar litigation? And since Yoda's eyes were supposedly based on Albert Einstein's, can Einstein's estate sue George Lucas?
